The Wailin' Jennys Albany Concert reviews
Rod Stewart Stevie Nick
Rod's show was very good, albeit very short at 90 minutes. This show was by far the least favorite. We have seen him 6 or 7 times.
The Wailin' Jennys was below average. She seemed unrehearsed, either forgot words, or missed her cues several times. She had to start over on one intro because she missed her cue. She played for only one hour. She commented early that she was disappointed she wouldn't spend the night in town, then mumbled something about having to fly out right after the show, which was weird.
She was supposed to come on stage with him to sing. When she didn't show, mumblings in the crowd of the two rockers not getting along ignited. We saw on the review from the previous night's show later that the duet portion of Rod's show with The Wailin' Jennys was terrible.
